How to Disable the Title on Posts and Pages

With the Frontis Theme, hiding the title for a post or page is easy and does not require custom code or additional plugins. You can do it on a per-page (or per-post) basis right from the Editor. Follow the steps below:

Open the WordPress Editor

  1. From your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Pages (for pages) or Posts (for posts).
  2. Select the page or post you want to edit, then click Edit (or Edit with Gutenberg, depending on your setup).

Locate the Frontis Sidebar Settings

  1. Once in the Editor, look for the Frontis panel on the right side of your screen.
  2. If you do not see it, click on the Frontis Settings icon (the gear) at the top-right corner of the Editor to expand the right-hand settings panel.

Disable the Title

  1. In the Frontis panel, locate the Disable Elements section.
  2. Toggle the switch for Disable Page Title (or Disable Post Title if you are editing a post).

When this setting is enabled, the Frontis Theme will automatically hide the title area on that specific page or post.

Save Your Changes

  1. Once you’ve toggled Disable Page Title, review the preview to ensure it looks correct.
  2. Click Update (or Publish if it’s a brand new page/post) to save your changes.
  3. Visit your site’s front end to confirm the title is hidden on that specific page or post.
  4. Repeat the same steps for any other pages or posts where you want the title hidden.
